L3Pilot @ EUCAD 2018 Symposium

The Interactive Symposium on Research & Innovation for Connected and Automated Driving in Europe will take place on April, 19-20, 2018 in conjunction with the TRA Conference in Vienna, Austria.

Several L3Pilot representatives will participate: Felix Fahrenkrog, BMW, Yves Page, Renault and Adrian Zlocki, fka will contribute to the session Vehicle Validation on Friday April 20 at 9:00 am, discussing CAD vehicle validation as a methodological challenge and one of the major cost factors for automation deployment. At the same time, Satu Innamaa, VTT, will be a moderator for the session Socio-economic Impact, which covers socio-economic impacts and sustainability of automated driving to provide valuable insights for drivers, fleet operators, transport authorities and road authorities making decisions about investments.

The symposium is co-organised by the CARTRE (→external link) and SCOUT (→external link) initiativesand supported by the European Commission as well as the ERTRAC (→external link) European Technology Platform. Complementary to the Connected & Automated Transport (CAD) topic stream at TRA 2018, the event aims to delve deeper into specific thematic areas related to the development and deployment of Connected and Automated Driving in Europe.
