OpenDD: A Large-Scale Roundabout Drone Dataset

The OpenDD dataset is a large-scale trajectory dataset recorded from a bird’s eye view.

Supported by the L3Pilot project, the dataset is published by the Volkswagen Group Innovation and aims at providing a relevant dataset to improve trajectory prediction algorithms. It includes high precision bounding boxes of all dynamic traffic participants, tracked with a unique object id, and HD map data.

In total seven roundabouts – five located in Wolfsburg, Germany, and two in Ingolstadt, Germany – are covered by the dataset. The dataset includes over 85,000 unique objects in over 62 hours of recordings.
