Driving activities on public roads provide the data needed for the evaluation. We will organise the execution of the pre-tests and the pilot supported by regional centres. During a series of events we will showcase the functions that are being tested. Also, we will provide all necessary tools to steer and handle the data that is created during the testing.
Data
L3Pilot will develop data logging requirements based on selected research questions and provide data loggers adjusted accordingly. Also, we will elaborate common L3Pilot analysis data formats and data description, one binding data storage strategy and data processing tools.
In the end, we will provide a set of guidelines and lessons learned about data logging, storage and management. Find out more in the respective project report that will be published during the lifetime of the project.
Piloting
To assure proper pilot execution, all piloting activities across the 10 European countries will be coordinated and harmonized. Three local centres will support this process.
